One of the most common questions we are asked is how to limit the number of adverts that get sent each day by our Ad Alert system and in particular, how to receive only local results.
Well, one of the changes we made last week is to allow searchers to set a maximum distance they are willing to travel as part of our advanced search. This maximum distance is also saved when you set an Ad Alert so you can now restrict your alerts to local sellers only.
If replacing an existing alert, remember to delete the old one from the members area.
(Hint: if you are having problems getting the system to list local results, check that your postcode is entered correctly in your member details)
