Seasoned Prelovers will know the importance of getting a status check on a car before parting with their hard earned cash. These checks will tell you if the car is stolen, is an insurance write off or if there is any outstanding finance on the car. The good news is that the RAC has just slashed the price of their data check to just £5 (was £24.99). The checks are available instantly and are powered by HPI (the company that originated this type of check).
